In Ireland
I arrived safely in Dublin at 12:30pm this afternoon without any complications. Customs was surprisingly simple to pass through, and then the lady taxi driver was quite friendly and knowledgeable. She told me that the college students in Galway have good "crack" but really "craic," which means "fun". Erica and her sister greeted me through the window, and then into Julie's adorable house in Phibsboro. Erica and I spent the day discovering the city buses, churches, and food. Just about every person we talked to told us about a different "first pub in Dublin". We ended the day with pear and Smithwick's beers before extreme exhaustion by 9pm.
